This is the Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS600 and to simply break it down for you:

The is one of the best values in luxury cars today

We will get to the part toward the end but what you need to understand about the GLS600 is this

Take the already impeccable GLS580 and turn it up to 11...there is your GLS600

Now let’s go ahead and break it down:

The Great

You can’t talk about the GLS600 without talking about it’s rear seat. Actually calling them seats sounds wrong. Let’s call them thrones…so those thrones and it’s passenger space is something that would make Emirates’s First Class cabin blush!

Engulfing it’s occupants with superb comfort, support and technology…there is not a moment where the GLS600 isn’t coddling experience.

Since it’s a Maybach, it has to ride like one and the GLS600 doesn’t disappoint. From crashing over potholes to speeding along gravel roads, the GLS600 absorbs all disturbances, yet like a proper luxury car still leaves enough feedback so you don’t feel isolated. Excellent!

The Good

The Maybach paint job, bodykit and wheels do justice to the exterior of the already good looking GLS. Just the right amount of ‘look at me’ but without the ostentatiousness you make expect. The two tone paint job works wonders in downplaying at the same time elevating the GLS600 stature.

Available with all the bells and whistles in automotivedom, the GLS is brimming with technology but thankfully doesn’t take away from the experience of just enjoying the proverbial ‘ride’.

The Bad

The bad can only come from the fact that the GLS is meant for rear seats passengers to enjoy. If you are relagated to the front seat, other than the Maybach badges, it’s hard to see a huge difference this and it’s GLS580 counterpart.

Yes the seats are a bit more comfortable but that is about it. Same dash layout, roughly the same dash matierals, same gauges (minus the icons), same switchgear…

The Overall

The hilarious conclusion on the Maybach GLS600 is it’s value! The closest two competitors are the Rolls Royce Cullinan and maybe the Range Rover LWB SV…both cost significantly more money than the GLS. So much in fact, that with the money saved (compared to the Rolls) you can get yourself a brand new S Class to compliment your Maybach.

I don’t know about you…that maybe a perfect garage.
