Integrated Engineering Tune

The VW MQB platform has approximately 34 million tuning options. Everything from Off the Shelf Tunes, custom tunes, piggy-backs and everything in between. With such an array of options…how does one choose?

Well you have the Big 3 in the name of VW tuning:

1. APR

2. Unitronic

3. Revo/GIAC etc

I went another way with a company called Integrated Engineering. The constant rate of updates, the ability of ‘staging up’ and the convenience of flashing at home…made IE a no brainer.

Now I’m not new to tuning the MQB platform. Three years back I had a 8V S3 with an APR tune and that little sucker was a slingshot! To the point, it felt like the engine is going to torque itself out of it’s mounts…it was violent (in a good way)!

IE’s tune on this platform is butter…no it’s like melted butter smothered with melted cheese. It’s beautifully ‘OE’ like power delivery but more of it. Like a lot more of it! Paired with the TCU tune, the Rolf is completely transformed!
