Okay and I’m also lame. Regardless Petit Le Man came roaring back to Road Atlanta this past weekend! Every year the air is filled with the sweet aroma of race gas and burnt rubber. Petit Le Mans is the one weekend where every race fan in Atlanta come together as one.

Together we breathe, together we revel in the excitement before us and together we gasp as one. IMSA racing is a competitive and torturous experience for man and machine. It’s an arduous experience for the spectator as well. For we are glued to our seat watching our favorites drive into the night sky and await the first glimmer of daylight to make its appearance.

For those long hours, we become one with the driver and team. We feel just a small smidgen of the exhaustion, trepidation and yes the joy they feel with each passing second. Together we ALL experience Petit Le Mans as one living breathing organism.

It’s experience like no other. It’s Petit Le Mans!
