‘They don’t make them like they used to’. As enthusiasts, we tend to miss the analog feeling of yesteryear. Where you were one with the car and car was one with you. I will join my fellow journalistic brethren and swoon at the heels of this car. It’s not a numbers car. Numbers don’t tell the truth and truth will set you free. It’s almost a religious experience behind the wheel. You’re at one with the 86 and the 86 is at one with you. You form an almost telepathic bond with the 86. Your hands and feet respond even before your brain and comprehend what is happening.
