The Great

Driving the Veloster N on a twisty road is a pure joy of automotive joys! It’s thrilling, it’s precise, it’s flingable, it’s tractable, it’s poised…it’s just phenomenal!

Add the fact you have the option of choosing either the excellent DCT or the sublime Manual…adds to the reasons the Veloster N should be at the top of your list.

The Good

From the light blue seatbelts to the glowing ‘N’ logo on the seats, the interior of the Veloster N is full of minute details that add to the sense of occasion when driving.

It’s also a hatchback, so there is plenty of room in the cargo area, the neat ‘mini door’ aft of the passenger door is about perfect for kids and overall the interior is simple, easy to use, comfortable and spacious.

The Bad

The Overall

The Hyundai Veloster N finds itself in a market in and of itself. Comparing it to more expensive and powerful vehicles like the Type R is not fair…but trying to compare to less powered vehicles like a Si or a GTI is not fair either.

So the Veloster N plays in that near perfect middle ground of price, performance, practicality and in my mind is just about perfect.

Love live the Veloster N.
