Polestar debuted their newest retail store in Atlanta on June 20th. The dealership is part of the Sonic Automotive group, which happens to be one of the largest in the nation. Working with a large dealership network such as Sonic helps Polestar leverage an existing dealer infrastructure, overcome local and regional political hurdles and gives Polestar an experienced talent pool to select the best and brightest.
The newest Atlanta location is located in the bustling heart of the metropolitan Atlanta area, The Battery shopping district. If you’re not an ATLien, The Battery is where Truist Park is located and no matter what time of day it is jam packed with residents, tourists and the lot! Being situated right off the I-285 Perimeter, the location is perfect for suburban dwellers and the ‘ITP’ citizens.
Polestar itself is setting an independent trajectory from parent company Volvo. While there are shadows of Volvo here and there, the identity of Polestar is succinctly separate and leans into the EV future.
While not as common place as Tesla nor as hilariously expensive as Lucid or stumbling along like Rivian, Polestar is uniquely situated as one of the few EV only brands that can leverage the scalability of a legacy auto manufacturer. In other words, the chances of your steering wheel randomly falling off and the lack of having brake pads installed during assembly…pretty much nill. Along with the fact that scalability leads to affordability in the long run…Polestar is one EV brand to keep an eye on!
