Eventuri Intake Review

Full Disclosure: This is not a paid promotion. I paid full price for this through standard retail channels

I have a problem. I cannot leave well enough alone. No matter what personal car I have. I have to tinker with it. I have to make it stand out from the crowd. It just has to be different. So I have started down the slippery slope of modding my own personal vehicle. My beloved 2019 Audi S4.

Now, it being an Audi, my goal is a OEM + build. What is that you say? In my mind a OEM + build is something a bit better than factory but not radically different. With that in mind…i wanted to start out small and just work on getting a bit more sound out of it. First step is getting an intake.

Now the internet is filled with keyboard Engineering Professors stating that intakes do more harm than good. In their defense, there is some truth to that. If you opt for a cheapo open filter air intake then your new found induction noise comes with added amount of heat soak courtesy of your engine. How do you solve that problem? A proper sealed system. This is where a company like Eventuri comes into play. They make the finest intake systems around and with the B9 S4 it is a beauty to behold as well.

My generation S4 takes heat soak to a whole new level with it’s ‘Hot Vee’ setup. The turbo is mounted in between the cylinder banks…so resting on top of the motor. So engine bay likes to heat soak itself into oblivion and keeping the IAT (intake air temp) under control is of vital concern to me. But I’m also a simple man who just wants to hear his turbo sing and his diverter valve go ‘whoosh’.

Thankfully Eventuri solves that problem for me. It’s sealed intake system blocks off the heat from the engine bay and helps route cool air in and add the patented reverse cone filter, high grade carbon fiber construction and additional intake duct, the Eventuri Intake is just a work of absolute art. A work of art that sounds sublime with better throttle response to boot! Yes it does make more power than the stock airbox as well but my singing praise boils down to the look and the sound.

So all in all…if you’re in the market for an intake system. Eventuri is your best bet.
